Since 2014, **Ready, Willing & Able **has supported businesses to hire more than 3,500 employees who are on the autism spectrum or who have an intellectual disability. **Ready, Willing & Able’s **delivery partner in Regina, the **Autism Resource Centre,** is seeking a **Labour Market Facilitator(LMF) **to grow the inclusive employment program in the Regina area.

The **Autism Resource Centre** is a non-profit organization that aims to meet the evolving needs of autistic people. One of the goals of the **Autism Resource Centre** is to empower those on the autism spectrum so they can realize their potential, achieve independence, and fully engage with their community. Through programs and education, the **Autism Resource Centre** supports autistic people in achieving this goal.

**About the Role**

The **Labour Market Facilitator(LMF)** is a relationship builder - developing connections and partnerships with employers of all kinds, employment agencies, and a ready, willing, and able workforce of job seekers who have autism or an intellectual disability.

This position reports to the **Autism Resource Centre, Operations Director**.

**Key responsibilities**
- Conduct business outreach & engagement across various sectors and industries to promote the value of inclusive employment.
- Engage employers to diversify their hiring practices to expand their recruitment and hiring of autistic people or people with an intellectual disability.
- Link hiring demand to a qualified talent pool of applicants and build capacity to support job seekers and employees with autism or an intellectual disability.
- Develop partnerships with community employment agencies and developmental service organizations to identify job seekers looking for employment.
- Deliver presentations to business groups and employers that promote the employment of autistic people or people with intellectual disabilities.
- Collect and document stories of successful employment.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Ensure adequate and ongoing information dissemination, development of tools and resources, and development and delivery of public awareness efforts.
- Participate in national **Ready, Willing and Able **communication and marketing campaign activities, including the use of social media, LinkedIn, etc.
- Attend monthly national **Ready, Willing and Able **team conference calls.
- Liaise and maintain a working relationship with the **Ready, Willing and Able **national team and provincial partners.
- Meet all reporting and documentation requirements of the national **Ready, Willing and Able p**rogram, including but not limited to completion of quarterly reporting and maintaining the client management data base.
- Other duties as required and/or assigned.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**
- Commitment to full inclusion for autistic people and people with an intellectual disability, including the right to employment and economic participation in the community.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with talent to communicate effectively with people of all walks of life and experiences.
- Strong knowledge of local labour market issues and trends.
- Experience in employment equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Knowledge of issues and barriers faced by autistic people and people with an intellectual disability in accessing the labour market.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Experience working in a community development framework.
- Proficiency and aptitude with MS Office Applications and client relationship management software and for learning new online systems and tools.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, Social Work, or Education) or equivalent experience.

**Working Conditions**
- Flexibility is required based on deadlines and requirements.
- Occasional evening and weekend work is required.
