**O),** you will be a key driver in reshaping the future of Learning and Development by advancing the agility required for client needs ahead of forthcoming market demands. You will play a critical role in the firm becoming increasingly agile allowing us to meet the needs of tomorrow's clients and start shaping the markets of the future.

As our CLDO, you will be responsible for the creation, delivery and execution of our Learning and Development strategy. You will provide foresight, development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive learning infrastructure that advances our mission, vision, and values. As a futuristic and culturally transformative leader, you will ensure the development of the critical knowledge the Firm requires to achieve and accelerate our business goals, gain a competitive advantage all while fostering a differentiated and fulfilling talent experience.

**Key accountabilities & responsibilities**
- You will support our culture transformation by creating a learning organization, leveraging insights from trends across the development landscape
- You will promote and foster a culture of continuous learning that enables our people to grow, increase capabilities and develop professionally
- You will serve as a national thought leader who shapes the direction of future education and learning
- You will lead a highly effective and efficient learning team delivering enterprise solutions and impactful employee learning experiences supported by collaborative internal and external partnerships
- You will anticipate the needs of our people, clients, and the broader market and design customizable and immersive learning experiences and deploy those learnings at the pace of innovation
- You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, design and deliver customized training programs, and track and measure training effectiveness
- You will ensure that BDO’s learning programs are compliant with all relevant regulations and laws, such as those related to inclusion, equity and diversity
- You will oversee strategic management programs that includes focused leadership competency development, methods for identifying and developing individuals with increased leadership capabilities, and succession planning
- You will partner closely with HR leaders and our Senior Leadership team to understand talent needs and help direct the design and development of programs to align with organizational goals and strategy
- You will identify success metrics and regularly report on budget, progress and gaps.

**Your education & experience**
- You bring proven leadership in taking an organization to the next level of growth with demonstrated successful execution while operating in complex and fluid environment with multiple stakeholders
- You are an expert in people-centered design and create followership and buy in with your passion
- You have a successful record of results leading the Learning and Development function of a large, multi-faceted professional services or comparable organization
- You possess expertise in facilitating evidence-based cross-organizational learning that yielded meaningful outcomes
- You have an ability to interpret, prepare and communicate key messages in a clear, concise and compelling manner
- You are a data driven individual who generates and executes ideas at strategic and tactical levels
- You bring 15+ years of demonstrated experience building, designing, and implementing enterprise-wide learning and development strategies, teams and programs, five of which are in a strategic leadership capacity
