**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food storage and preparation surfaces.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Understanding of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
