**Role Profile: Assistant Shop Manager Bramalea City Centre & Toronto Eaton Centre**

**Key Activities**:
**Purposeful Entrepreneur**
- Consistently cascades all corporate communications via various platforms to the team & ensures appropriate actions taken in a timely manner.
- Meet sales & performance targets.
- Communicate effectively & act as a flexible & responsible role model to your team.
- Interest in & passion for learning about & leveraging knowledge of the beauty market, our competitors & our products.
- Responsible for payroll within guidelines following corporate scheduling practices.
- Monitors working schedule for compliance with provincial, state & federal regulations.
- Manage stock; monitor & manage visual changes.
- Maintains administrative paperwork and procedures affecting shrinkage and profit protection.
- Accurately inputs data into register to ensure adequate stock flow.
- Stays on top of shortage issues and manages stock control through proper POS and inventory controls.
- Executes all markdowns and promotions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Confidently use the data (KPI’s) we provide, to make sound commercial & business decisions to successfully drive your sales & your team performance.
- Ensures all in-shop expenses in compliance with corporate direction.

- Lead & work as part of a successful, engaged team to best meet the needs of our customers.
- Shares the role of L.O.D. (Leader on Duty) with Assistant Shop Manager/Team Lead. The goal of the L.O.D. is to positively influence team behaviors to create a fantastic and consistent shopping experience for our customers.
- Coach team to drive customer engagement through our products, campaigns & activism, helping to shape a customer focused shop experience that brings the brand to life.
- Efficiently executes events, promotions, and contests with total support from staff members. o Effectively implements Event Packs with urgency, without sacrificing good customer service. o Implements and ensures highest merchandising and visual standards as described by corporate direction.
- Ensure development of customer loyalty to further build The Body Shop brand and promotes The Body Shop loyalty programs.
- Ensures link-selling techniques to increase KPIs through training and direction of the sales staff.

- High standards of tact, discretion & confidentiality.
- Ensures all shop employees receive timely coaching, training and development using corporate training materials and training is documented/tracked accordingly.
- Conducts effective sales/training meetings as approved by DSTM or Corporate.
- Looks for sales opportunities both inside and outside of shop.
- Consistently holds staff members accountable to achieve sales goals; recognizes Outstanding Performers.
- Ensures people practices comply with corporate, local, federal, provincial, and state guidelines; partners with District Sales & Talent Manger and People Team as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimizing the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace. Report potential risks, near misses and real accidents to relevant managers.
- Must be available for evening, weekend & holiday shifts to meet the needs of the business.
- Flexibility to work across Sunday to Saturday is required with open availability.
