**Business Development Specialist for Wood Products/Component Manufacturer**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Market Research**: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market opportunities. Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop targeted strategies for business expansion.
- **Client Acquisition**: Actively pursue new business opportunities by identifying and prospecting potential customers, building relationships, and presenting our wood products/component offerings. Leverage your networking skills to establish a strong client base and expand our market reach.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients. Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our products/wood components.
- **Sales and Revenue Growth**: Set ambitious sales targets and work diligently to achieve and exceed them. Develop sales plans, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure consistent revenue growth.
- **Strategic Partnerships**: Identify and pursue potential strategic partnerships and collaborations with other businesses, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to enhance our product offerings and market presence.
- **Market and Product Positioning**: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to refine our product positioning and develop compelling value propositions. Ensure that our wood products/components stand out in the market and meet the specific needs of different customer segments.
- **Trade Shows and Events**: Represent the company at industry trade shows and events, showcasing our products, building relationships, and generating new leads.
- **Sales Collateral and Proposals**: Create persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and sales collateral that effectively communicate the benefits of our wood products/components and help convert leads into customers.
- **Sales Analytics and Reporting**: Monitor sales performance and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies. Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales achievements and areas for improvement.
- **Web Sales**: The Company has a strong e-commerce platform which needs renewed attention to maximize its large potential for growth.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles within the wood industry.
- Strong understanding of wood components, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Willingness to travel to attend trade shows, meet clients, and explore new market opportunities.
