**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient route planning.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Experience in freight handling and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair for minor vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
