Position: Night Supervisor Chef

Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Executive Chef

Overview

Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Management:

- Supervise and coordinate all activities of kitchen staff during the night shift.
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food preparation and service.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies to meet the demands of the night shift.
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency and quality of all dishes served.

Staff Supervision:

- Lead, train, and motivate the night kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Schedule and oversee kitchen staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to kitchen staff.

Health & Safety:

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, addressing any issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.

Customer Service:

- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to food quality or service.

Menu Development:

- Assist in the creation and refinement of menu items, ensuring they align with Bo's Bar & Stage's brand and standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new ideas to enhance the menu and overall dining experience.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food products, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
