WHAT TO EXPECT

The OHS technician plays a supporting role in the development and promotion of a culture of occupational health and safety among Soucy Techno employees. He/she participates in the implementation and evaluation of the entire OHS management and prevention system in order to achieve the company's objectives and legal obligations.

**Here's an overview of your tasks**:
Participate in the deployment, follow-up and evaluation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management system (prevention program)
Collaborate with managers in various health and safety processes such as: accident investigations, inspections, risk analyses, development of work instructions, etc.
Support the OHS Manager in the completion of various OHS projects targeted in the strategic and operational plan
Ensure the update and maintenance of OHS procedures and processes
Manage and maintain various computer platforms related to health and safety
Act as a resource person for accident investigation and analysis
Undertake the creation and follow-up of risk analyses with managers and workers
Support the implementation of a preventive action program in OHS in collaboration with all directors and managers
Collaborate in the implementation and communication of OHS performance indicators
Work as a team with the OHS manager and the prevention representative to set up an action plan and carry out the resulting follow-ups
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
DEC in Environment, Health and Safety at work or any other combination of training or a certificate in occupational health and safety
Between 1 and 5 years of practical and applied OHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience in a unionized environment (asset)
Good knowledge of occupational health and safety laws, standards and regulations
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Ability to maintain good relations with employees
