The Opportunity

The Business Services Coordinator is responsible for working with the Business Consultant to support business Managers in Ontario LTC homes (75%) and provide Admin support to the LTC Finance group (25%). This role with will support Business consultant to ensures the Business Managers are in compliance with all applicable legislation as it relates to payroll, accounts payables and receivables, employee, and resident business files as well as admission processes.

In this role you will be focused on- Supports the Business Consultant in providing Business Manager training and orientation in PCC, payroll and other areas as needed.- Working with Accounts Receivable department regarding the setup of rate schedule modifications.- Conduct operational audits which consist of auditing employee files, resident files, resident trust accounts and financial records. Ensuring these are in compliance with the LTCHA, CARF and corporate policies and procedures.- Ensure effective management and control of accounts receivables.- Actively participate in the recruitment process for the Business Manager position, as required.

What You Will Do:
- Review and authorize credit card purchase monthly. Provide education on allocation of credit card transactions.- Work closely with homes and Finance team to ensure that resident trust accounts are reconciled and ensure business managers are meeting deadlines per Finance calendar.- Work with Senior Accountant to ensure requested documentation is provided for the annual trust account audit.- Provide back up to Executive Assistant for LTC Operations- Provide Administrative support to Senior Director and LTC Finance team.- Support with Administrative task such as WCB payments, schedule review calls with homes, distribute monthly calendars, co-ordinate covenant reports for signature, deposits for Corporate Office and other task as required.- Support LTC finance team in data entry for compliance reporting to ministry on ongoing basis- Support LTC finance team in collecting agency statements on quarterly basis for accruals.

What You Bring:
- Office Administration Diploma- 3+ years of experience in an administrative capacity in a full scope office environment, combined with leadership/supervisory responsibilities, preferably within unionized environment.- Mature, cooperative, compassionate, and caring nature- Ability to handle sensitive situations that require empathy, tact, and confidentiality.- Proficient with Point Click Care or other related software program; Microsoft Office Suite, AP/AR
