The **Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine **(CCATCM) is a Private Career College approved by the Nova Scotia government Department Advanced Education and is located at 1306 Bedford Hwy, Halifax, Nova Scotia. In the past 15 years, we have graduated many qualified Acupuncturists, currently serving all over Canada, some in the Unites States and even abroad. CCATCM focuses on clinical training with an extremely high pass rate for the PAN Canadian Exams.

We currently have openings for instructors to teach our western medicine courses, namely Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Neuroanatomy and Emergency Medicine, and Western Medical Diagnostics & Examination.

**Qualifications**:

- A practising Medical Doctor / Nurse / Pharmacist / Naturopath / Healthcare practitioner knowledgeable in common drugs and medicine.
- 1 year of teaching experience is required.
- Fluency in English is a must.

The instructor must be able to meet the qualifications set out by the Private Career Colleges Division of the Nova Scotia Department of Advanced Education.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver engaging course content in Western Medicine, ensuring alignment with medical terminology and teaching standards.
- Supervise and mentor students in both classroom and laboratory settings, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Moodle for course administration and student assessment.
- Design test and exam materials to effectively evaluate students' progress and knowledge.
- Teach daytime classes onsite and/or evening classes online.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week
