**Position Overview**

IHG branded hotel located on the mountain, in Hamilton. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
**Your day to day**:

- Directing the overall operations of the hotel such as front desk, housekeeping & maintenance to ensure budgeted targets are met/exceeded
- Ensuring highest level of guest satisfaction by reviewing reports and responding to guests’ feedback
- Ensuring compliance with all hotel brand standards and all local legislation
- Working with sales to complete various sales / marketing activities and contract negotiation
- Negotiating with clients for group room bookings and ensure proper billing and collection
- Maintaining open communications with companies with direct bill and A/R accounts
- Directing and overlooking rate management and related revenue management strategies
- Completing HR tasks such as recruitment, training and reviews
- Training staff on hotel's PMS problem resolution, and other mandatory programs
- Preforming inventory tasks such as ordering, monthly inventory counts, and invoice reviews and submission
- Preparing and reviewing schedules for front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Obtaining and negotiating quotations with 3rd party supplies and vendors
- Completing regular property walkthrough and inspect guest rooms, public areas, mechanical rooms, F&B facilities, and outside areas.
- Submitting and completing payroll reports and related duties
- Ensuring cost-control measure are not exceeded i.e. labor, ordering, etc.
- Leading staff to ensure budget and other KPI targets are met
- Keeping confidentiality and security of hotel guests, hotel financials and employee files
- Submitting and reviewing daily, monthly, and yearly reports
- Performing all other duties as needed

**What we need from you**:

- Five+ years’ hotel management experience in a similar or related senior role.
- Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and reporting skills in English
- Strong leadership skills and able navigate teams through high demand / high stress environment
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Portray high standards of ethics, honesty and integrity
- Proficient with computers and able to use and learn various software programs
- Sound business acumen
- Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration/ Business Administration
