**Branch Coordinator**

- We are growing again ARC-1 Welding Supplies is currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated person to fulfill a Branch Coordinator position at our Sarnia location._

**Essential Duties**:
Provide Arc-1 Welding Supplies’ customers with an above average level of customer support encouraging allegiance and professionalism and enhancing the customer’s experience

Coordinates activities with other branches and/or immediate branch personnel to resolve any customer, sales or operational problems or inquires. Issues are handled in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction.

Responsible for handling phone inquiries, taking orders, processing, invoicing, assisting sales team in quoting new and existing customers and assisting walk in customers

Accurately competes and submits all sales-related paperwork (e. g., shippers, invoices, cylinder audits, month-end reports, cash reconciliations, deposits, etc.) in a timely manner.

Manages all branch personnel in accordance with company policies by hiring, training, motivating, planning and directing work, providing performance feedback, developing associates and resolving associate issues.

Coordinates sales promotion activities and responsible for maintaining and stocking merchandise and displaying it so that it is attractive to customers. Maintains a clean and attractive store.

Responsible for timely and quality performance appraisals of assigned personnel.

Evaluates and monitors day-to-day activities of a branch to ensure cost effective operations and makes changes to ensure same when required.

Lead and promote safety; organize safety meetings and strictly enforce safety rules.

Perform all administrative responsibilities for branch location to support the sales/ service department pertaining to internal, external and other work orders such as opening, maintaining, comments, invoicing and filing

Data entry into Trendex, a software for welding supply companies

Responsible for the oversight of the company’s main warehouse and fill station

Yard organization, complete inventory management with input from inventory controller including ordering full cylinders and returning empty cylinders

Promoting a safe, clean and healthy environment throughout the location

Keeping the retail and stock area clean and tidy

Managed/schedule the truck run/logistic plan daily for the delivery of customer merchandise

Other duties may be assigned

**Skills and Requirements**:
Driver’s License and transportation is required, DZ License an asset

General understanding of mechanical/technical/welding terms is preferred

Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).

A team player who takes ownership, creates solutions and drives for results to get the job done.

Excellent communicator who expresses consistency in words and actions, communicates directly and honestly

Work independently and have the ability to multitask is a must

Strong leadership and relationship development skills

Pleasant, professional, and courteous personality

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Full time employment: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour *Dependent on experience level*

Benefits after 3 month
