**Location**: We are seeking a **Deck Supervisor **for the **Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg Manitoba**.

Canada Life Centre is an indoor sports arena and entertainment venue in downtown Winnipeg. The arena is the home of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

**Principal Function**:
Provide direction to concessions Stand Leaders before, during and after events. Also responsible for overseeing all stand operations and the implementation of company policies during the events. Deck Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the operation of multiple stands.

The Deck Supervisors will plan and prepare with the Concessions Manager in advance of games or events, will provide hands on supervision during events and will complete post-event closing and clean up.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Verify inventory prior to and following an event in each of the assigned stands.
- Reconcile stand inventory.
- Ensure that all stands are properly equipped with the required menu items and other supplies.
- Ensure that concessions stands are ready and operating efficiently, all points of sales are in use and employees are in proper uniforms.
- Ensure proper controls of inventory, food, set up, clean up and compliance with all rules.
- Represent the company in a positive way within company policies.
- Ensure the proper and equal enforcement of all company policies.
- Assist in the completion of administrative paperwork as required.
- May be required to assist with monthly inventory.
- Perform other customer service and/or supervisory functions that may arise from time to time.
- Ensure that policies and procedures for processing customer sales transactions are adhered to.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interact with customers to resolve problems and or conflict.
- Ability to operate stand equipment including cash registers.
- 1-2 years supervisor experience in a fast-paced foodservice facility preferred.
- Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others.
- Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who typically visit the work location.
- Smart Choices certified.

**Other Requirements**:

- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
