**Position Summary**

The Automotive Service Dispatcher is responsible for the efficient distribution of service work with an emphasis on repair order prioritization and accurate data entry. Our dynamic teams are looking for an energetic and results-oriented individual who strives to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction. This is an integral role that serves as hub center between our service technicians/advisors and our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Organize and dispatch jobs to technicians in timely manner
- Arrange service orders for pre-delivery inspections
- Prepare billing for completed work orders
- Verify the correct allocation of charges to the service order
- Allocate appropriate operational codes in GM Global Connect for warranty work
- Write service orders for used vehicles to recondition and detail
- Collaborating with service advisors and technicians on the work-in-progress status
- Complete necessary training every year

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary throughout the course of your employment.

**Technical Skills & Requirements**
- Minimum one year of previous experience in the automotive industry
- Technical vehicle knowledge is an asset
- Post-secondary training and automotive service training is an asset
- Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledge

**Logistical Requirements**

This is a full-time position at the Dueck Richmond location. On occasions employees may be required working extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.

**Salary**: $35,266.44-$58,180.06 per year
