**Finishing Excavator Operator**

Harco Developments has been operating for almost 30 years and is one of Calgary's leading landscape construction contractors providing the market with construction services in the building and maintenance of entry features, boulevards, parks, storm ponds, sports fields, and other green spaces within new communities on behalf of our clients.

We are currently looking for an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our team for the 2024 season.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work with a team of operators, drivers and labourers to perform different tasks relating to landscape construction at all phases
- Operate machinery using a variety of different attachments
- Perform the following tasks
- Land clearing, stripping, stock piling, rough grading, fine grading, finishing, backfill, loading trucks, etc.
- Conduct extensive pre
- and post-use inspections on equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment as required

Experience and Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Operator must be competent at interpreting plans and reading stakes
- Skills should be to finishing grade
- Experience operating equipment with the use of GPS technology
- Must have the ability to arrive at various job sites around Calgary
- Physically fit
- Able to work long hours in all conditions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
