**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:
BD Equipment is part of a group of companies located in Cambridge, Ontario. which buy and sell used machines and also manufacture new machines. We have a 42,000 sq ft warehouse full of inventory. The inventory changes all the time. Machines are sold and shipped out. New inventory is purchased or manufactured and then later arrives in the warehouse.
**JOB DESCRIPTION:.**
The position is all about generating leads over the phone to former and/ or potential customers. Only a very basic understanding of our equipment is needed and we provide the training. Treat this opportunity like you are part of our team. You must have 3 years of telemarketing experience.
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience with and proven track record of successful cold calling and telemarketing
- Experience with successfully overcoming common objections
- Ability to spend long hours on the phone maintaining +200 calls per day
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet
- Minimum 3 years experience in telemarketing/appointment setting in a B2B environment
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Calling on B2B decision-makers, and executives to ascertain their machinery needs and/or schedule appointments for pour outside salespeople.
- Hand over-scheduled leads to our outside sales team for closing
- Confirm appointments a day before meetings and reschedule meetings if necessary.
**Salary**: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Call center: 3 years (required)
- Outbound calls: 3 years (required)
