**About Our Opportunity**:
We are about to launch a brand-new Case File System created jointly by the PPS and Cyber Security and Digital Solutions. The PPS and policing agencies currently rely heavily on paper files and the transfer of those files manually to our offices throughout the province. The new Case File System will transfer files electronically directly to the PPS. Those E-files will be stored electronically and available to PPS staff electronically. Crown Attorneys and other staff will be trained to access and manipulate files electronically in the daily course of their work. The PPS is striving for a dramatic reduction in the use of paper files.

The team will work with PPS employees, policing agencies and other justice partners to integrate the system with existing policing systems. The team will train PPS staff and, where required, will train law enforcement.

The team will maintain and upgrade the new system as needed and will seek out new digital solutions, as required to aid PPS employees in the execution of their duties.

The team will develop solutions for the existing file system including maintenance and storage solutions. This includes maintenance of the JEIN and PICS networks for the PPS.

The team will create solutions for the variety of digital systems used by policing agencies and work to integrate their systems with the new system.

Members of the team may be required to travel throughout the province to provide staff training and to maintain the Case File System and related systems.

The team will also engage in other related duties as required.

These positions are based in Halifax and will report to the Director of The Public Prosecutions.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Successfully developing and delivering strategies, plans and programs and monitoring progress
- Developing and delivering review and evaluation process from proposals to plans for a variety of audiences (large and small initiatives).
- Providing leadership, support, and facilitation for partnership engagements and program development and evaluation processes.
