**Nature of the work**
The main and usual role of the employee in this job class is to perform various administrative tasks of a complex nature according to defined methods and procedures
**Daily Tasks/Dossiers**
- Teacher staffing for the youth sector (includes all elements related to annual staffing and needs throughout the school year (school needs, excesses, voluntary transfers, priority pool, contracts, availability, leaves of absences, resignations etc.).
- Answers questions from administrators, teachers or union on the various dossiers for which they are responsible.
- Creation and production of monthly staffing reports
- Participate in the teachers recruitment process
- Support school principals in identifying/verifying their staffing needs and to fill vacancies.
- Monitor and oversee teacher qualifications, requests for tolerance, evaluations.
- Monitor and oversee multiple financial measures, such as overmax, “rareté”, mentoring, etc. Analyze and reconcile budgets, makes recommendations.
- Supports the development of projects related to the measures funding.
- Responsible for the value added remuneration program.
- Maintain and update a detailed database of youth sector teachers (contracts, leaves, transfers, etc.)
- Work with the payroll team for any changes/hiring of teachers.
- Prepare paperwork for all changes to youth sector teachers contracts and leaves.
