The **Head Office in Niagara Falls, ON** is looking for a hardworking, and detail oriented **Payroll Clerk** to join the Finance team.

**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Clerk is accountable for working with the payroll team to prepare and administer company payroll, improve associated processes, and ensure the integrity of reported financial payroll data with a focus on audit, compliance, and support with respect to the collective agreements, company policy, Canadian payroll, labour, and tax legislation.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in the processing of payroll for all unionized and non-unionized employees, including the collection, calculation, and entering of timesheets
- Assist in the preparation of Records of Employments
- Update and maintain various spreadsheets
- Execute relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearend reports as directed by the Payroll Manager
- Provide accurate and timely information when required
- Work alongside the Manager to maintain and upgrade all payroll programs and reports
- Work in a fast paced and mostly digital environment
- Provide courteous and efficient service to employees and management on all payroll related questions

- Provides accurate and timely information with respect to payroll

- Performs accurate reconciliations within our systems

**KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Two-year diploma or degree with a concentration in business administration, accounting, human resources or related field

**SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- A minimum of one year of payroll, accounting or human resources experience
- Internet, MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel), and Adobe skills required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain highly confidential & sensitive information
- Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
