As the Coordinator of Real Estate Property Brokerage team, you can expect to actively participate in and have direct responsibilities associated with the management of transactions headed by senior members of the Real Estate Property Brokerage team and the Real Estate Investment Banking group. You will gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and deepen your knowledge of the capital markets including the investment banking and real estate industry.

**Your job**
- Drafting communications, letters, agendas, minutes and other required transaction documents
- Maintenance and creation of electronic data rooms, project folders and diligence processes
- Screening, prioritizing and determining actions for incoming inquiries
- Assisting in preparing confidential documents for both internal and external presentations
- Helping with roadshow / marketing scheduling and communications (ie. organizing site visits etc.)
- Maintaining brokerage and client databases including details on registers and folders for NBF deals
- Tracking live mandates, follow-up and client / third party coordination
- Performing various tasks supporting senior team members in deal execution and client coverage efforts

Communication and Collaboration:

- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including members of Corporate Investment Banking, compliance and relevant external regulators addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Collaborate with team members to support project management and ensure smooth workflow
- Create and maintain written procedures in respect to regulatory obligations
- Maintain commonly required databases in lieu of regulatory and compliance obligations
- Interacting with clients in the execution of investment banking and brokerage mandates
- Foster a positive and professional working environment through effective communication and interpersonal skills

Coordination:

- Organize and maintain physical and digital files and records
- Help generate internal / external market reports, including budgets, invoices etc.
- Maintaining brokerage policies and procedures in accordance with firm and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned

**Your team**

The Corporate Development & Business Management team is a dedicated group of individuals providing the successful execution and implementation of the strategic initiatives, projects, and all other related operational responsibilities within the Corporate and investment banking group of NBF.

Teams and the Brokerage Coordinator opportunity are both based in Montreal.

**Basic requirements**:

- College diploma, undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, accounting, real estate or related field
- Commercial Brokerage or Investment Banking Experience is an asset
- Applicable real estate brokerage experience including working within one or more of the following areas would be considered an asset: real estate appraisal, asset/ investment management, financial analysis or investment brokerage
- Highly developed organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to work extended hours periodically as required
- Strong command of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat;
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently interact with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French
