Concord, Canada ABM Accounting Business Management Inc. Full time

The Accounting Associate position is a position that allows employees to begin building experience within the accounting field and get an in-depth knowledge of the day-to-day responsibilities and duties of bookkeepers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enter expenses into Quickbooks Online, Sage Online or Xero;
- Post and reconcile internal sales with deposits from the bank;
- Track Sales Tax within Quickbooks Online;
- Post Year-End adjusting entries;
- Be able to complete work with deadlines (_e.g. prior to tax filing deadline_);
- Prepare working papers for tax accountant (_e.g. trial balance, balance sheet, etc._);
- Communicate with clients regarding the particulars of their financial dealings;
- Provide regular financial reports (_weekly, monthly and yearly_); and
- Communicate with account managers on a frequent basis regarding accounting questions, issues and advice.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting from an accredited Canadian or US Post-Secondary Institution;
- Some relevant experience (_1+ Years_) preferred, but not required;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Quickbooks Online;
- Quickbooks Online Certification (_Advanced is preferred_);
- Strong organisational and analytical skills Detail oriented

Compensation

Pay Range : $47,000 - $60,000

Quarterly Performance-Based Bonsuses
