**QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN**

**The Opportunity**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Paper Mill operations for a **Quality Assurance Technician** position.

In this role, you will work under the supervision of the** **Quality Assurance Lab Team Leader. The successful applicant will be given on the job training to perform duties such as but not limited to:

- Sampling and Testing of final product Paper Quality to ensure compliance to Customer specifications.
- Sampling and Testing of in-process products to ensure processes are in control.
- Maintaining the testing instrument calibration systems.
- Technical projects related to process improvement

Irving Paper is a 24/7 operation - shift work will be required in this role.

**You Have**:

- Educational Requirements: Chemical Technology Diploma
- Have a high level of computer skills and competency (Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office software and be comfortable learning new software platforms)
- Be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Must be willing to work collaboratively with others to solve problem
