With the general direction of the Cyber Security Operations Centre Lead, provide front line cyber defense for Manitoba Hydro by
monitoring Manitoba Hydro's systems for malicious activity, responding to cyber events, sustaining security tools, and supporting the
delivery of secure technology projects.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Within the context of the National Institute of Standards and Technology framework: Identify, protect against, detect, respond,

and recover from cyber security events using established practices, guidelines, and standards.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of cyber security documentation including playbooks, guidelines,

standards, policies, and metrics.
- Participate and facilitate several types of incident response preparedness including tabletop, operation centre, and field

exercises.
- Investigate, document, report, and respond on information security issues, emerging trends, and hardware and software
- vulnerabilities.- Perform upgrades, patch management, and North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure- Keep abreast of cyber security trends and issues.
- Provide guidance to technology projects to ensure adherence to Enterprise Technology Security Policy.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with industry contacts for the purpose of information exchange and to keep
- abreast of technology innovation and directions. Develop and maintain good working relationships with contacts within D&T,- ICS teams, and stakeholders throughout Manitoba Hydro including any subsidiaries.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A four-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a university of recognized standing plus a minimum of three

years related information technology (IT) or industrial control system (ICS) Support experience of which at least one year must
be in a system support role.
OR
- A two-year diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Technology from an institute of recognized standing plus a minimum

of five years related IT or ICS Support experience of which at least three years must be in a system support role.
- Entry level cyber security certification(s) with organizations such as ISACA or ISC 2 would be an asset.
- General understanding of technology and how it is deployed to support the Enterprise including information technology (IT),

operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS).

**_ Salary Range_**

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $36.74 - $50.85 Hourly,
$70,393.70 - $97,442.28 Annually.
