We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey. The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the aspirational look and feel of the Roots office, factory, distribution center and retail spaces. As the leader of this function, you will oversee day-to-day facilities management as well as participating in larger scale projects and growth initiatives.

The Facilities Manager for Roots will be responsible for the following:

- Manage the calendar of maintenance and repairs across the business including communication, programming, and scheduling of work
- Ensure all current and new Roots retail spaces are equipped with the necessary utilities while also managing costs through optimized maintenance and sustainability practices
- Support with planning and execution of store openings and closings across our retail network
- Coordinate, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, property management and janitorial work
- Foster relationships with each internal and external partner, addressing business opportunities for scale
- Coordinates and manages moves, adds and change activities for all locations
- Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects
- Manages capital projects. Prepares capital project and operating budget and variance reports as needed
- Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures.
- Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding
- Coordinates and manages moves, adds and change activities
- Prepares and delivers and coaches employee/team performance
- Mentors and coaches team members to further develop Roots core competencies.
- Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's competencies
