Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Technician, Accounts receivable for a temporary (6 months) full-time position.

As an Accounts Receivable Technician, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and collections. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer payments are recorded in an accurate and timely manner, while following up on outstanding balances. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers to resolve payment, billing and credit issues, and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth receivable processes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
- Manage customer accounts and monitor payments, balances, and financial transactions.
- Manage back orders according to credit policy.
- Perform billing, issue statements, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Resolve billing, credit, and payment issues with customers.
- Answer questions and provide quality customer service.
- Create and maintain customer accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounts receivable issues and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounts receivable processes by proposing solutions and initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or finance, preferably in a similar professional environment.
- Good command of IT tools and knowledge of the JDE ERP system (an asset).
- Analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with customers and team members.

AND IF YOU ARE
- Bilingual, French and English, both written and spoken.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Meticulous and pay close attention to detail.
