We are looking for Customer Service Representative, with strong experience to support the Operations Customer Service area:

**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Operations Support Supervisor, as the Customer Service Representative you will:

- Verifies and processes requirements for receiving customer shipments into the warehouse based on notification from the customer (receiving)
- Receives notification from customer of shipping requirements, enters the request into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), reviews stock status, and generates pick documents and bill of ladings.
- Notifies Shipping/Receiving Dispatcher of receiving and/or shipping priorities
- Notifies internal freight and cartage personnel of requirements
- Assesses discrepancies of inventory and notifies the Inventory Co-Ordinator.
- Provides inventory status reports as required
- Plan loads for shipping
- Ship orders as driver pick-up
- Customer Focus
- Performs other related duties as required
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety rules and regulations and Food Safety programs.
- Respect the warehouse policies, procedures, standards and follow all of the health and safety rules including but not limited to BRC & HACCP.
- All other duties as required.

**EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**
- High School diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related customer service field.
- Experience working in the food supply chain and/or transportation industry is considered an asset.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS** **AND ABILITIES**
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with a diverse client group.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer related issues and concerns.
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily duties and tasks to be as effective and efficient as possible.
- Ability to work and collaborate as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the food supply chain and/or transportation industry is considered an asset.
