**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Management
- Develop, implement, and lead all aspects of the organization's compliance with Canadian EPR programs for packaging materials in accordance with provincial and federal regulations.
- Monitor changes in EPR regulations and adapt organizational practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into product life cycles.

Data Collection and Maintenance
- Maintain data collection of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, waste generation, and packaging materials to track and analyze key sustainability metrics.
- Ensure data inputs from all manufacturing sites for accurate reporting.
- Waste Diversion Program Management:

- Maintain and implement waste diversion initiatives within manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize waste management processes and reduce overall waste generation.

Sustainability Initiatives and Communications Support
- Assist in the development of sustainability communications intended for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability communication strategies.
- Support internal sustainability groups in implementing sustainability initiatives, as the need arises.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to supervise supplier sustainability performance.
- Work with suppliers to ensure alignment with our sustainability objectives and adherence to the company's Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to address sustainability-related requests and provide necessary information.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field (an asset)
- 2-3 years (minimum) experience in leading compliance programs for Extended Producer Responsibility, preferably within the dairy product manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian environmental regulations and sustainability best practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to data accuracy and reporting integrity.
