Location
- Kingston, ON**Position Overview**:
Calian is seeking an Orthopaedic Surgeon to work part time at CFB Kingston. This position offers Physicians a unique opportunity to work with Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members without having to become members themselves.

**Responsibilities**:

- providing general orthopaedic consultation service to CAF members on a referral basis
- performing comprehensive diagnosis, medical management and rehabilitation of patients
- participating as a member of the multidisciplinary team for case conference when on-site
- practicing as a member of a multidisciplinary team and consulting with members of other health professions as appropriate in order to ensure the health care needs of CAF members are met
- practicing in accordance with the Canadian Armed Forces’ Spectrum of Care, Drug Benefit List and Code of Ethics

**Qualifications**:

- Currently licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
- Full hospital privileges at an acute care medical facility to perform surgery and deal with complications
- Eligible for Government security clearance at Reliability level

**Additional Requirements**:

- You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.

**Security clearances**:

- A security clearance and/or vulnerable sector screening might be required for this position.
