Answer general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond to general requests for information in an accommodating manner
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, and couriered parcels
- Prepare and proofread reports and documents using Microsoft 365
- Code and file material according to the established procedures
- Provide support to the Executive Director
- Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment
- Must be proficient with Excel and Outlook

Bookkeeping responsibilities:

- Administer, record and report petty cash transactions according to established procedures
- Prepare invoices and cheques for payments
- Process payments in office and at events
- Process payroll, remittance of Gov’t source deductions, GST Returns, T4 Summary Returns
- Track monthly income and expenses
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Draft monthly financial reports and statements

**Qualifications and Skills**

1- Minimum 1 year experience in bookkeeping

2- Strong computer software skills (i.e. MS Office, MS Project)

3- Strong administrative experience

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- Monday to Friday

- Abbotsford, BC V4X 1E3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
