**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Registrar (or designate), the R3 Project Change Management Officer undertakes change management activities and communications campaigns for components of the R3 project. The position plays a key role in the effective implementation of the new R3 Student Portal and the smooth transition of the changes to systems that integrate with the student information system (SIS). The Change Management Officer plays a key support role in all of the Change Management, Communications and Training stream activities for the R3 Project through to post-implementation. The position is accountable for inclusive practice that considers the diverse needs of the college community and for ensuring stakeholder perspectives and needs (through assessments) are factored into planning and execution of change management activities.

This Change Management Officer supports the change management goals of the R3 business transformation project. Specifically, the incumbent:
- Plans and delivers an Engagement and Communications Campaign for the new Algonquin Student Portal;- Develops and co-ordinates Change Management plans for “functions”, currently part of GeneSIS but transitioning to new systems;- Develops and delivers the Change Management plan with ITS and Identity and Access Management for the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication and the implementation of Role-Based Access Control;- Co-ordinates Change Management plans for key systems that integrate with the new SIS such as Salesforce, Brightspace and Workday;- Develops and manages the R3 college-wide web site;- Supports R3 events; coaching others on work-back planning, event management, and writes executive speeches for events.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a three (3) year diploma or degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Media, Information Technology or equivalent;- Minimum five (5) years of experience in change management, communications, event planning and/ or related experience;- Change Management certification required;- Business Analysis, Lean or equivalent course completion;- Knowledge of ERP systems such as HR, CRM, Finance, or Student Systems;- Demonstrated proficiency in related software including but not limited to SharePoint, WordPress, Zoom, Microsoft 365 and Teams, Survey tools such as Survey Monkey and Analysis tools;- Post-Secondary Experience required, preference for Algonquin College.
