**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**

**Sales Leadership - 20%**
- Drive and maximize sales performance to achieve overall targets across all SSENSE channels and initiatives; walk-in model, appointments model, online model, marketing activations and individual contributions.
- Lead by example in cultivating client relationships through client database management, client communication and engagement to grow the customer base, with particular emphasis on building local markets.
- Analyze store performance and identify business opportunities to maximize revenue, achieve KPIs and optimize productivity for SSENSE Montreal.
- Develop and implement business tactics and action plans in collaboration with the Associate Store Managers, Visual Experience Specialist and Manager of retail to enhance revenue and the customer experience.
- Acts as liaison between store staff and HQ stakeholders for relevant framework, reporting, metrics, initiatives, and strategic business interests

**Customer experience - 20%**
- Lead the customer journey flow through walk-ins and appointment model including productivity, presentations, inventory management and after sales service to ensure an outstanding customer experience is consistently achieved and increase market shares
- Execute Retail client acquisition and retention initiatives through delivering the highest standard of service, selling culture and loyalty programs.
- Ensure the development, implementation and execution of company CRM initiatives
- Drive client development through capturing meaningful customer data and analyzing purchasing
- behaviours to achieve deliverable and client-centric personalized experience.

Operations - 30%
- Optimize all aspects of SSENSE Montreal operational model, including, but not limited to, the employee experience, customer experience, operational processes and store expenses.
- Manage SSENSE Montreal payroll budgets to maximize productivity and enhance customer experience.
- Responsible for ensuring an effective and accurate staff schedule and leadership zoning according to traffic trends, launches and events by analyzing peak hours and seasons to ensure adequate floor coverage.
- Lead stock level on hand through sell through analysis, proactively communicate, participate in inventory planning to drive healthy density on hand, turnover, and processes to support retail and global business goals.
- Partner with the Retail Visual Experience Specialist to define the staffing resources and in-store operations required for in-store Visual Merchandising and Marketing programming with full accountability for establishing and meeting financial targets;
- Responsible to uphold SSENSE Montreal physical space standards of operational excellence by identifying and communicating opportunities for improvement to maintain and to create a functional, clean space and reflect SSENSE point of view space environment by working closely with the Visual Experience, Real Estate and Security teams.
- Comply, promote and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management and transaction accuracy to ensure annual inventory shrinkage is below SSENSE Montreal target.
- Adhere and enforce compliance of store operations, health and safety, maintenance and company policies and protocols.

**People Leadership - 30%**
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to direct and indirect reports.
- Oversee annual review process for all store employees and set annual employees goals to build and
- develop best in class client centric teams.
- Ensure communication of Retail strategy, KPIs, policies and procedures is cascaded to and understood by in-store leadership and staff.
- Partner with the Retail Training Specialist to create, maintain and execute training programs development and maintenance for all levels of the team based on learning opportunity.
- Recruit, train and develop talent pipeline and build succession plans.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years store management experience in a high volume clienteling environment and retail operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Management, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience establishing trusting relationships in an omni-channel environment
