Trotman Auto Group is currently seeking an Accounts Payable person to join their team This is great opportunity for an individual with an accounting background to gain valuable experience. **About the Role**:
Supported by the Controller, the AP Specialist works closely with Department Leaders in performing general accounting duties.

**Schedule**: Full-time; Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

**Salary**:$45K -$55K (based on experience)

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties
- Reconcile monthly Accounts Payable Sub-ledger to respective General Ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests and issuing reimbursement checks
- Process payments to vendors
- Prepare correspondence and documents as necessary
- Assist in providing information in external audit and internal audits

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years of recent experience in an accounting role
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
- The ability to self-manage one's self in a fast paced and deadline-oriented role
