We have an immediate opening for a Plant Manager In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations and will report to the CEO. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, working collaboratively with our Sales, Purchasing and Engineering teams from sale to raw material procurement and to final product assembly, testing and delivery
- Oversee all production activities of the manufacturing facilities including Fabrication, Weld, Parts Picking and Paint areas
- Coordinate timelines with the Purchasing Manager to procure required items for manufacturing
- Review and Approve new sales orders for scheduling, and manage realistic timelines for the sales orders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues
- Ensures all required quality and regulatory standards are met
- Lead (supervise, train, develop) the manufacturing department
- Monitor plant operations and provide timely reporting (key business information) to the CEO
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure labor costs are kept within budget and that proper operations are maintained for quality, safety, production and delivery
- Enforces compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the plant and oversee safety violations and defects in a timely manner
- Participate in design review and product launch meetings to provide design and manufacturability insight
- Determine staffing requirements as necessary and work with HR on any personnel-related matters, conduct new hire and annual reviews, and progressive discipline matters
- Work on yearly goals and objectives that are set by the CEO and CFO

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum of 5-years’ experience as a Plant Manager or equivalent in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge in production, assemblies, tooling and materials
- Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related degree considered an asset
- Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety act and Workplace Safety Insurance Act and their impact on operations

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
