Fernlea Flowers Ltd. is a rapidly growing North American grower and supplier of high-quality garden and potted plants with the head office located between Tillsonburg and Delhi, Ontario, and multiple locations in the USA.

**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to provide assistance to Senior Management with executing a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organizations overall business strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project manager who is positive, driven and willing to build value and make a difference. You will provide guidance and assistance to sales, finance, operations, and logistics teams as well as senior management. The position will report to the COO.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Senior Management for Project initiation and department stakeholders for requirements gathering to support project.
- Establish business cases and recommendation for project approval.
- Work with departmental stakeholders for planning, design and implementation of projects.
- Develop schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables for projects to align with corporate timetables.
- Develop risk management, identify risks to senior management and plan accordingly.
- Oversee vendor management, negotiations, and procurement.
- Monitors teams to make sure goals and objectives are being met
- Maintain standards and monitor scope with project quality
- Implement necessary tools and resources to assist with corporate projects
- Oversee strategic plan, monitor and adapt as needed
- Reports on project progress, offers viable solutions as they arise
- Manage team members and resources to make sure schedule is achieved against provided timetables
- Lead meetings and set expectations for project team
- Develop, streamline and manage communication between all project stakeholders
- Support COO with trials, evaluating production materials and equipment costing recommendations

**Current projects will include**:

- Path to Profitability - senior management initiative for increasing company profitability
- Greenhouse and Nursery infrastructure improvements and expansions to existing facilities.
- Technological innovations - autonomous tractors within our greenhouse facility
- New equipment needs and implementation into production
- Work with Operations Managers for project needs, justification, scope and project costing

**Qualifications**:

- PMP Designation required
- Previous Project Management experience required (5 years minimum)
- Expertise in conflict resolution
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written ability
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
- Experience with process improvement and inventory control
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Microsoft Office

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
