Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Refinery Co-Products Supply & Trading Manager on a full-time permanent basis on our Supply & Distribution team. This position is a hybrid or remote opportunity and is based in Regina, SK.

**What you’ll do**:

- Negotiate and manage short
- and long-term sales contracts for all refinery co-products including third party storage contracts for propane and butane.
- Seek to maximize value from co-products while ensuring sufficient product egress to support refinery operating plan.
- Manage propane supply to the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) through refinery production volumes, exchange, and purchase agreements.
- Use forecasted sales from the Propane Department and a linear program (LP) to establish the propane supply plan for the CRS.
- Collaborate closely with Process Operations, Production Planning, and the Distribution Department to address product quality, production volume, or logístical issues.
- Determine customer allocations based on monthly/weekly production plans and monitor railcar availability and inventory levels to satisfy sales commitments.
- Stay abreast of market conditions (supply/demand balances, industry trends, regulatory changes) that could impact the value of refinery co-products by utilizing industry sources, paid pricing subscriptions, and dialogue with external customers.

**The Team**:You will have one direct report, a Product Supply Analyst and will report into the Director, Supply & Distribution. This team strives to cultivate a culture that is strategic, result-oriented, and business savvy.

**The Collaborators**:You will work closely with other functions in our Supply Chain, Energy & Ag, and Manufacturing business units and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Propane and Refinery Operations.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

- Have 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in the oil and gas industry including demonstrated experience in supply and trading of oil and gas commodities.
- Have a Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have strong interpersonal and negotiating skills as this role involves extensive external communications with customers.
