Surgical Dental Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team. As a Surgical Assistant, you will provide support to surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of operations in the operating room.
**Duties**:
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and their families
**Skills**:
- Dental assisting experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Familiarity with dental office operations, includingTracker software, is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient workflow in the operating room
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with surgeons, nurses, and patients
