We have had extreme growth this year and are continuing to grow quickly, so we are looking at expanding our team with an experienced Purchaser & Inventory Control Coordinator.

**About the Opportunity**

The Purchasing/ Inventory Control Coordinator performs all aspects of purchasing for the company and manages the inventory, distribution, and control of those items for all company locations. The Purchaser/Inventory Control must identify the products to be purchased, identify the most appropriate supplier, confirm and negotiate all aspects of pricing, confirm all deliveries, and maintain an inventory control database.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with company department managers to determine purchasing needs and requirements
- Works closely with accounting and management to develop, fine-tune and document inventory control procedures
- Identify the most appropriate supplier for the designated product, determine availability, perform comparative pricing and negotiate price, confirm the quality of products, and establish delivery requirements/timelines
- Perform all purchasing functions, invoice creation, pricing verification, payment authorization, and complete entries into the accounting system
- Input and maintain the online database of all products; maintains weekly and monthly inventory update
- Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, pricing, delivery, utilization, loss, and RMAs
- Keep packaging metrics updated
- Track and receive all inbound field shipments
- Perform and organize inventory cycle counts, spot counts, and month-end reconciliation process; research any variances and authorize appropriate inventory adjustments
- Update the company on any new products that may be more efficient or cost-effective, obsolete products, product trends
- Conduct records audit of inventory, adjustments, and other metrics and prepare monthly/ quarterly/ annual reports of findings to management
- Ensuring that all arriving stock receipts are efficiently and carefully verified
- Work with the Logistics Coordinator to arrange inventory shipping containers

**Skills Needed**:

- At least 5 years of recent and relevant experience in procurement/purchasing/inventory control, preferably in a warehouse environment
- Ability to source globally, compare, vet, and set up new suppliers
- Inventory management/adjustments
- Solid working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong ability (and desire) to learn new computer programs and processes.
- Ability to work occasional overtime
- Must be detail-oriented, attentive to part numbers and special customer order requirements
- Must be a team player and self-starter
