In this role as a tender specialist for hardware design at Hitachi Energy you will be a part of a department which is responsible for the design of our automation system of the plants and transmissions. You will be tendering our solutions to customers on a global scale, a system which consists of our control cabinet layout with hundreds of circuit boards for measurements, control, and calculations. Our system also includes user interfaces such as HMI (Human Machine Interface), diagnostic tools and IT (Information Technology) infrastructure and IT security. For this we utilize our in-house developed real-time platform MACH to meet the power industry’s standards and you will be setting the stage for our future deliveries.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be a part of the HVDC team and be responsible for tendering our hardware design for our control and protection system
- Set the pre-conditions and lay the groundwork for upcoming projects
- Working in close collaboration with our customers to meet their requirements
- You will have the opportunity to shape Hitachi Energy’s future on the energy market

Your background
- Electrical engineer or similar
- 2 years of experience from previous tender work (preferred)
- Communication and collaboration skills are vital in your role with us
- CAD-tools like Engineering base or Ruplan
- Experience of AC sub-stations and its control systems
- Fluent English and French (is an asset)
