- Essential Pathways to Employment Program (EPE)
- Food Service and Hospitality Training Program (FSHT)
- Violence Against Women and Children (VAW)

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation and quality of our employment programs. This role involves overseeing the accuracy and compliance of client files, monitoring performance metrics, and supporting staff development. You will play a key role in coordinating team activities, managing client caseloads, facilitating external partnerships, and driving continuous service improvements. This position reports to senior management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Quality Assurance & Compliance: _
- Ensure the shared program folders are up-to-date and organized and provide staff access to shared folders accordingly.
- Review and audit client files for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure statistical data collection and reporting requirements are met.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve complaints through mediation when necessary.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: _
- Track and analyze performance targets, client feedback, wait times, and staff performance.
- Adjust outreach and community engagement efforts as well as scheduling to address any variances or challenges.
- Team Recruitment & Development: _
- Recruit qualified staff and placement students.
- Provide onboarding, orientation, and training/coaching to promote continuous learning and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations and schedule professional development opportunities to ensure continuous learning and skills enhancement.
- Team Collaboration: _
- Facilitate weekly team meetings (with minute taking) to review performance metrics, client feedback, and service delivery adjustments, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving within the team.
- Reporting & Management: _
- Prepare monthly reports on key successes, challenges, and performance.
- Meet with senior management to address performance-related concerns.
- Prepare reports for funders and contribute to AGM reporting.
- External Partnerships & Outreach:_
- Develop and foster new partnerships with external stakeholders, including potential employers.
- Promote RIWC employment services through outreach campaigns and presentations.
- Identify and share online employment resources with clients and employers.
- Client Caseload & Service Support:_
- Provide back-up support for Employment Counsellors, Case Coordinators, and Engagement Coordinators during absences or high-volume periods.
- Assume a client caseload, conduct intake and outreach, and provide housing and life stabilization support services as needed.
- Process Improvement & Documentation: _
- Develop and update processes, procedures, and training documents to ensure efficient program delivery and continuous improvement.
- Approve timesheets and time-off requests for team members.

Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or post-graduate certificate in a relevant field (e.g., career or employment development, vocational rehabilitation, social work) preferred, or equivalent experience. Canadian Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) designation preferred.
- Proven experience in program supervision or a similar leadership role in community-based services in the non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of client service management, performance evaluation, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with staff recruitment, onboarding, and staff coaching and development.
- Expertise in employment services (including job development and retention) and building partnerships with employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with housing support services is an asset.
- Knowledge of the local labour market, community resources, government programs, job search techniques, career development and issues relating to unemployment.
- Demonstrated experience working with marginalized groups facing complex barriers (e.g., racialized communities, low-income individuals, newcomers, refugees). Shared lived experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and mediation skills.
- Solid understanding of confidentiality and other professional codes of conduct (criminal reference check is required).
- Proficiency in English required. Other languages are considered an asset.
- Experience with client management software and Ministry and other online tools such as ICM and online employment services.
- Advanced computer skills in Google Worksp
