**The opportunity**:

The role requires working with data from several sources and interacting with data ‘owners’ to combine, standardize, and report on corporate information. The Data and Reporting Analyst is also responsible for supporting data management functions within MS Fabric/MS Power Suite infrastructure as needed and supporting the self-serve reporting needs of staff across the organization.
- Responsible for data management, including standardizing, combining, and summarizing data (often from several sources) for reporting and other initiatives as needed.
- Responsible for data visualization with a focus on communicating information simply and intuitively with an aesthetically pleasing design.
- Responsible for preparing data for loading into the corporate data warehouse and our Customer Information System (CIS) as needed.

- Responsible for fulfilling ad-hoc data and information/report requests from the data warehouse, the CIS, and other sources.
- Responsible for building recurring reports with Power BI (utilizing data pipelines and automated refresh procedures), and supporting Power BI users with dashboard design and training as needed (re: self-serve reporting)
- Support data integrity and data validation along with process improvements as they relate to the data life cycle from data collection through to reporting (for example, automating data movement and reporting)
- Participate in planning exercises and projects as needed (data support)
- Assistance in documentation for various requirements
**What Will Help You Succeed?**
- University degree or College diploma specializing in data/information management or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience using Power BI/Power Query
- Knowledge of structured query language (SQL), Python, and experience in combining and analyzing data from several different sources and formats.

- Strong writing skills, particularly in summarizing operational results for management and external audiences.
- Strong analytical skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be dynamic in a quickly evolving industry (e.g., new concepts, new tools, etc.)
