Transportation Coordinator

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist with promoting and monitoring sustainable transportation options for TD Place and Lansdowne;
- Work with internal and external stake holders to provide timely and appropriate transportation options for events including shuttle logistics quantity, timing, and routes;
- Ensure comprehensive and consistent transportation planning and messaging for all events at TD Place and Lansdowne;
- Investigate traffic issues and recommend methods to improve traffic flow and safety;
- Assist with on-site parking garage reviews including enhancements and safety concerns;
- Coordinate and track staff parking assignments for events;
- Obtain and coordinate event permits when required for road use;
- Act as the event transportation point of contact when assigned through rotation;
- Complete event day site preparations and checks;
- Assist with onboarding, training, and traffic safety team performance reviews;
- Correspond with part-time event staff on payroll, scheduling, and general inquiries
- Other duties as assigned.

**What’s needed**:

- Completion of High school diploma or equivalent;
- Experience leading part time staff;
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service environment;
- Experience working in an office environment;
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail ;
- Demonstrate qualities in problem solving, flexibility and ability to work well with and coordinate the work of others;
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Able to work well under pressure, maintain a strong work ethic and positive team attitude;
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (based on event calendar);
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, able to walk long distances and climb stairs;
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
