Mechanical Assembler

**Tremcar Inc.** is seeking **Mechanical Assemblers **at our facility located at 2060 Oxford Street East, London, Ontario. **Only qualified individuals with relevant experience will be considered. **Tremcar Inc.is a leading manufacturer of aluminum and stainless steel tanker trucks and trailers for several industry sectors including: petroleum tankers; chemical tankers; dry-bulk tankers; and food grade tankers. We perform service and repairs on all tankers manufactured by Tremcar. Note: this is not a production line job, so experience in assembly of mechanical systems is required. We have a diverse workforce and welcome all suitably qualified applicants, or applicants who have **the aptitude to be trained**. On-the-job training is offered.
**Hours of Operation**:Day Shift (Mon.Thu. 7:00 am-4:30 pm, Fri. 7:00am-3:15 pm) with occasional overtime. Weekends and statutory holidays off.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:
- Mechanical aptitude _**and **_experience in mechanical assembly, and capable of assembling and repairing a variety of mechanical systems.
- Have an understanding of vehicle electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, or have willingness and aptitude to be trained in these areas.
- Ability to read blueprints and visualize a layout by looking at plans.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to get along well with co-workers.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform lifting up to 50 lbs. and manipulative tasks.
- Experience working on trucks and trailers is desirable.
- Farm equipment, RV maintenance and similar experience is relevant to this position.
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
