Operation Sharing Woodstock provides emergency shelter, food and dignified services to Oxford County residents working through shelter and food insecurity issues. We believe that community is about relationships and dignity of the individuals, and we focus our attention on bringing people in the community together to recognize we are stronger if we work together. Our core services are designed to break down the barriers caused by labeling through opportunities for all members to participate in the life of our community.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role works from the main office and participates in a hybrid work environment. Also plays an important role for Operations Sharing because it influences our connections with the community via social media or community events, drafts grants to raise funds, coordinates events such as the Coldest Night of the Year and coordinates the volunteers.

**Social Media Communication - Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, update and manage all social media accounts.
- Create consistent content that follows the Operation Sharing morals and brand.
- Grow following and engagement across all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & TikTok
- Capture, edit and promote content to market our programs and upcoming events.
- Capture, edit and promote content from other services/agencies within our community

**Grant Seeker/Writer - Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide and maintain a list of program specific grant opportunities
- Ensure that proposals conform to Operation Sharing policies and procedures
- Act as central point of contact to coordinate communication & information for funding

**Volunteer Administrator - Key Responsibilities**:

- Create/maintain a current list of volunteers
- Work with the program coordinators to determine volunteer needs and selection for each program.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are known and followed. All forms must be filled out prior to starting.

**Seasonal Program/Key Programs & Special Events - Key Responsibilities**:

- You may be required to provide help with volunteers and other aspects of the program as required and approved by the ED
- Program Coordinators will determine where and when help is needed
- Special event participation and role during events such as CNOY will be determined and communicated by the ED

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary training in relevant areas of study along with proven results
- Experience working with community partners is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for this position
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Works well under pressure
- Organized and detail oriented
- Efficient time management skills

**Hours**: Full-time - permanent.

**Compensation**: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
