The Sales Representative will ensure that the needs of customers are met and is the primary contact for both prospective and active customer accounts. The Sales Representative will be responsible for understanding inventory levels, securing orders with current and future clients, ensuring that payment terms are solidified, and sales goals are achieved. The Sales Representative reports directly to the Sales Manager.
- Additional Duties and Responsibilities: _
- Acts as primary contact between Highdeal Solutions and wholesale customers
- Represents all Highdeal Solutions in-house brands in a professional and relatable way
- Identifies and solicits new clients through networking and prospecting strategies
- Develops, cultivates, and maintains great relationships with potential and existing clients
- Identifies areas of growth and implements methods to increase sales
- Works with all members of the Highdeal Solutions team to achieve revenue goals
- Applies industry knowledge to match products to the needs of clients
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large
- Supports the Sales Team as requested by the Sales Manager
- Works with Design Manager to support clients through design process
- Works with Sales Manager and client to ensure that products are selling at a desirable rate
- Manages price negotiations, terms of sales, and service agreements with clients in their portfolio as approved by the Sales Manager
- Prepares product and status reports for the Sales Manager and CEO as needed
- Collaborates with the sales department as needed to review market research and industry trends
- Collaborates with Logistics Manager to confirm orders are fulfilled, processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
- Clearly Communicate feedback, needs and any revenue roadblocks to Sales Manager
- Stay up to date on market pricing for all product categories
- Works with Sales Manager/Finance to follow up on delinquent accounts when necessary
- Work with Sales Manager/CEO on growth opportunities and sales related tasks and projects as needed
- Maintains satisfactory quarterly reviews based on sales quota, KPI’s, and personal objectives
- Position Requirements: _
- At least 2-3 years sales experience
- Ability to travel when necessary
- Represents the company with creditability and integrity
- Excellent customer relations
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- Experience with meeting or exceeding sales quotas on a monthly basis
- Ability to work closely with marketing to develop brands
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Cannabis industry experience preferred
- General understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance in Canada preferred
