**Who we are**

TransEd Valley Line LRT is the first piece of the Valley Line project in Edmonton. Connecting Millwoods to downtown Edmonton, the valley line allows commuters to go from the South East of Edmonton to anywhere the LRT stops.

**A typical day for the Performance Analyst**:

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance goals and metrics that align with business objectives.
- Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks and methodologies to track progress and ensure consistency.
- Create regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance trends, highlight areas of concern, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors impacting performance, proposing and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance analysis and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for performance analysis purposes.
- Provide training and support to team members on performance analysis tools, methodologies, and techniques.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Performance Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of light rail transit is a plus.
