**Glassroom Toronto** is looking for a Media Strategy Director who will be responsible to help lead the day-to-day business strategy across key agency accounts in Toronto and help elevate Glassroom’s strategy product in the marketplace.

This is a pure strategy and client leadership role where the expectations will be to develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of the client’s various lines of business, service the day-to-day business operations and drive the client bottom line from a strategic and business perspective.

Above all, as a leader at Glassroom, the Media Strategy Director must embody the agency’s exemplary work ethic, be committed to helping build and drive company culture, be seen as a facilitator and champion for inter-team collaboration and produce tangible business results for the client portfolio that they manage.


**Responsibilities**

Overall
- Partner with and support the Glassroom executive leadership team to help drive the goals of the company;
- Lead a team of strategists across multiple lines of business while helping mentor and develop the future talent of the organization;
- Guide the development of integrated media strategies across strategy, activation and performance team as well as collaborate with other inter-group divisions as required to deliver the best results for the client and company;
- Lead client planning process and strategy presentation process;
- Manage overall client timelines, deliverables and projects across multiple agency teams;
- Stay on top of industry trends, new media opportunities, and foster innovative thinking as part of your commitment to the agency leadership team.

Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both clients and our key agency partnerships to build trust, transparency and mutual respect between the organizations;
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day client communication with client, your internal teams and the marketplace;
- Lead vs manage to ensure the agency is always on the initiative.

Internal Leadership
- Ensure that tasks are completed on time, project status is monitored, and client requests are handled in a timely manner;
- Oversee all financial and rev management reporting, agency time/pacing reports, and that budget controls and forecasts are issued accurately and on time to support executive team decision-making;
- Accurately represents the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team/presenting client work, and ultimately stay focused on doing the best work possible for our clients and making impactful contributions to driving their business bottom line;
- Ensure collaboration among all Agency departments to foster a culture of teamwork and the creation of better work for the client.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in Marketing or Communications or related area
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a senior 360 planning (online/offline) and 5+ years spent client facing agency roles.
- Experience working with both national and global clients
- Comprehensive understanding of media sciences including MMM and geospatial intelligence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure the effective leadership of both client business and internal teams
