**Mission**
CIMA+ is seeking a corporate development and Lead Manager, M&A to fill an important role in leading the organization’s growth and development activities. He/she will be involved in identifying, evaluating, and coordinating mergers and acquisitions opportunities and transactions, and overseeing the entire M&A process including post closing activities such as integration, growth plan and investment case follow-up.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the M&A transaction process through closing and integration
- Participate in appropriate valuation and transaction structure by understanding complex financial models including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Generally, support deal structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and integration efforts
- Lead the pre/post acquisition integration plan, including ensuring support and fast response to newcomers (point of contact)
- Coordinate the pre/post acquisition growth plan, including target definition, synergies, go-to-market strategy, follow-up with key stakeholders and quarterly reports
- Prepare, communicate, improve and guide the CIMA+ M&A process, timeline, and key deliverables
- Ensure appropriate focus on and commitment of multifunctional teams to completing the transaction and seamless transition to the operational integration team
**Other responsibilities**
- Participation in research and source new deal flow opportunities to expand the M&A deal pipeline, in line with CIMA+ strategic plan
- Monitor and track acquisition targets, including creating opportunity description and analysis
- Coordinate and assist in outreach activities to potential targets with senior executives
- Maintain contact with targets to ensure continued business relationships and follow-on opportunities
**Profile**
- Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering, MBA considered an asset
- Minimum of 10 years of experience including 3-5 years prior experience in a similar position
- Good understanding of the professional services business
- Assertive and persuasive negotiating abilities, an acute business intuition
- Comfortable collaborating with multi-functional teams to solve problems
- Tact, diplomacy, and strong leadership skills to ensure seamless execution of deal, while coordinating multi-functional teams
- Will strive for continuous improvement
- Rigor and attention to details and a sound judgment
- Comfortable making decisions and adapting as needed
- A strong command of English in this role is indispensable for fostering effective relationships with our diverse array of stakeholders, spanning clients, partners, and fellow colleagues nationwide
