**Position Description**:
Reporting to the Manager, Learning Institute, the Program Manager oversees and executes key deliverables of the Paediatric Project ECHO Program. The Program Manager works closely with a variety of partners and collaborators (clinical teams, research teams, educators, administrative professionals and senior leaders) to ensure excellence in program delivery.
Paediatric Project ECHO is a primarily virtual Ministry of Health (MOH)-funded education program focused on improving the management of paediatric pain, obesity, complex care, and palliative care in Ontario. The program is operated by the SickKids Learning Institute. The mission of Paediatric Project ECHO is to create a virtual community of practice among interprofessional healthcare providers in order to enhance their skills and confidence managing paediatric patients. Paediatric Project ECHO does not provide direct care to patients. Instead, the program builds capacity among community-based providers to manage and care for specialized patients in rural, remote and underserved areas.
**Here's What You'll Get to Do**
- Oversee and support the work of the Paediatric Project ECHO team in delivering the program in collaboration with the Manager, Learning Institute.
- Ensure compliance with the MOH contract, including meeting contract obligations, reviewing and submitting quarterly and annual reports and responding to requests from MOH as needed.
- Build strong working relationships with the clinical leads and clinical team members who deliver the Paediatric Project ECHO content and act as a link between the ECHO Operations Team and each of the four specialties.
- Liaise with ECHO Ontario programs, the ECHO Institute (University of New Mexico) and other partners to exchange knowledge/experience and learn about best practices.
- Manage program budget and report on expenditure status to Learning Institute leadership and Finance team.
- Respond to needs for program improvement and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Build relationships with key partners and identify opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion.
- Create and deliver presentations demonstrating program impact to raise awareness of program.
- Oversee program accreditation (continuing professional development) requirements and ensure accreditation status is maintained.
**Here's What You'll Need**
**_Essential Requirements_**
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., health administration, public health, education, business).
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience with partner engagement and change management.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to propose and action creative solutions to address program needs
- Experience developing and managing complex budgets in Excel.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and experience advancing EDI objectives.

- Certificate in project management or PMP designation.
- Experience working in healthcare and partnering with government.
- Experience leading community engagement and/or capacity building initiatives.
- Experience managing a virtual education program.
- Experience running education session using Zoom.
