Industrial Maintenance Technician

Beretta Farms Ltd./Canadian Premium Meats is looking for the right hands to maintain our processing facility in Lacombe, AB.
**Position Summary**:
- Experience conducting mechanical repairs within the food industry, particularly in a slaughter facility.
- Trouble shooting/repairs/installations and electrical components of processing equipment to allow efficient repair/replacement results.
- Perform department PMs, including but not limited to, cleaning, lubricating, and completing other routine maintenance work.
- Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on commercial/industrial equipment and systems
- Repair and/or fabrication of equipment parts to Food Safety Standards.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge including power transmission, pneumatics and hydraulic.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous beef facility production experience an asset (2-5 years)
- Journeyman/Journeywoman/Red Seal Trades Certificate an asset
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Team player
- Great communication within and across the departments
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures & applicable SOPs, and with all regulations relating to equipment and chemical approvals for a food manufacturing facility.
**Requirements**:
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in commercial/industrial setting
- Salary will be commensurate with education, skills and experience.
