Inventory Specialist

**About the position**: Reporting to the Purchasing Manager while working closely with Operations team, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining and reconciling inventory records for multiple sites in the Northern Alberta region.

**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and update inventory records
- Manage the daily cycle count program with warehouse personnel
- Assist in annual physical inventory
- Prepare and assist with tank farm reconciliation
- Monthly reconciliation of customer and supplier consignment inventory
- Participate in quarantine product reviews to identify products to be classified as waste for disposal
- Verify return of goods and receipt
- Process inventory adjustments
- Research and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Participate in aged inventory reviews with the Sales Department
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Related University degree or college diploma, SCMP designation or two (2) years of related inventory or purchasing work experience is required
- Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
- SAP, Tableau, and Sharepoint experience are considered an asset
